Na stejn\u00e9m m\u00edst\u011b na\u0161e spole\u010dnost nep\u0159etr\u017eit\u011b funguje a\u017e do dne\u0161n\u00edho dne a i n\u00e1zev spole\u010dnosti dosud odkazuje k bohat\u00e9 historii.<\/p><p>Spolek st\u00e1l u zrodu \u010desk\u00e9ho chemick\u00e9ho pr\u016fmyslu a hr\u00e1l kl\u00ed\u010dovou roli v jeho rozvoji. Velk\u00fd v\u00fdznam m\u011bl I pro rozvoj samotn\u00e9ho m\u011bsta \u00dast\u00ed nad Labem.<\/p><p>Druh\u00e1 polovina 19. stolet\u00ed byla ve znamen\u00ed velk\u00e9ho rozmachu skl\u00e1\u0159sk\u00e9ho a textiln\u00edho pr\u016fmyslu, pro n\u011b\u017e Spolek vyr\u00e1b\u011bl z\u00e1kladn\u00ed surovinu \u2014 sodu. \u00dasp\u011bch Spolku st\u00e1l v\u017edy na schopnosti inovace a schopnosti pru\u017en\u011b reagovat na pot\u0159eby trhu. Snahy o udr\u017een\u00ed vedouc\u00edho postaven\u00ed ve v\u00fdrob\u011b a prodeji sody v\u00a0tomto obdob\u00ed vyvrcholily podeps\u00e1n\u00edm spolupr\u00e1ce s firmou Solvay. Spojen\u00edm obou firem vznikl mezin\u00e1rodn\u00ed monopol, kter\u00fd na dlouhou dobu ovl\u00e1dal trh s touto surovinou, a Spolek v\u00fdznamn\u011b pos\u00edlil sv\u00e9 postaven\u00ed a byl \u00fasp\u011b\u0161n\u00fd na mezin\u00e1rodn\u00edch trz\u00edch. V dob\u011b prvn\u00ed sv\u011btov\u00e9 v\u00e1lky byla firma pova\u017eov\u00e1na za nejsiln\u011bj\u0161\u00ed chemick\u00fd podnik Rakouska-Uherska.<\/p><p>Po vzniku samostatn\u00e9ho \u010ceskoslovenska v roce 1918 byl z n\u00e1zvu firmy od\u0148at p\u0159\u00edvlastek \u201eRakousk\u00fd\u201c, a od roku 1920 tedy nese na\u0161e spole\u010dnost n\u00e1zev Spolek pro chemickou a hutn\u00ed v\u00fdrobu.<\/p><p>Obdob\u00ed do 40. let 20. stolet\u00ed bylo ve znamen\u00ed dal\u0161\u00edho posilov\u00e1n\u00ed pozice firmy. Spolek byl silnou kapit\u00e1lovou spole\u010dnost\u00ed &#8211; v d\u00edl\u010d\u00edch obdob\u00edch byl dokonce leaderem cel\u00e9ho \u010deskoslovensk\u00e9ho chemick\u00e9ho pr\u016fmyslu a vlastn\u00edkem pod\u00edlu v mnoha \u010desk\u00fdch i zahrani\u010dn\u00edch firm\u00e1ch. Spoluvytv\u00e1\u0159el strukturu odv\u011btv\u00ed \u010deskoslovensk\u00e9 chemie a d\u00edky snaze p\u0159esunout chemickou v\u00fdrobu do vnitrozem\u00ed vzniklo n\u011bkolik v\u00fdznamn\u00fdch chemick\u00fdch podnik\u016f (chlorov\u00e1 chemie &#8211; Spolana Neratovice, organick\u00e1 barviva &#8211; Synthesia Pardubice). V t\u00e9 dob\u011b firma spolupracovala nejen s koncernem Solvay, ale tak\u00e9 nap\u0159\u00edklad s firmami Ciba, Bayer, BASF, Carbo Union atd. G. Farbenindustrie a ke konci v\u00e1lky byla velk\u00e1 \u010d\u00e1st z\u00e1vodu po\u0161kozena p\u0159i spojeneck\u00e9m bombardov\u00e1n\u00ed.\u00a0<\/p><p>Po roce 1945 do\u0161lo ke zn\u00e1rodn\u011bn\u00ed cel\u00e9ho siln\u00e9ho a mohutn\u00e9ho koncernu a k jeho roz\u0161t\u011bpen\u00ed na jednotliv\u00e9 z\u00e1vody po cel\u00e9 republice. T\u00edmto krokem do\u0161lo k nen\u00e1vratn\u00e9mu po\u0161kozen\u00ed siln\u00e9 a v\u00fdsadn\u00ed pozice Spolku na trhu. Po roce 1989 do\u0161lo k obnov\u011b akciov\u00e9 spole\u010dnosti, kter\u00e1 byla privatizov\u00e1na. Od t\u00e9 doby se p\u00ed\u0161e novodob\u00e1, dynamick\u00e1 historie na\u0161\u00ed firmy.\u00a0<\/p><p>Hlavn\u00edm v\u00fdrobn\u00edm oborem od po\u010d\u00e1tku existence firmy byla anorganick\u00e1 chemie. K n\u00ed se pozd\u011bji p\u0159idala v\u00fdroba organick\u00fdch barviv a v\u00fdroba syntetick\u00fdch prysky\u0159ic.
